FIFA 20 Legacy Edition [XCI]
FIFA 20 Legacy Edition is a football simulation video game published by Electronic Arts as part of the FIFA series. It is the 27th installment in the FIFA series, and was released on 27 September 2019 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. EA SPORTS FIFA 20 Legacy Edition launches September 27th on Nintendo Switch™ featuring the latest kits, clubs, and squads from some of top leagues around the world. It will also feature some of the world’s most famous stadiums, including some brand new to FIFA 20. Gameplay features and modes will have parity with FIFA 19 on Nintendo Switch. FIFA 20 Legacy Edition is a cynical attempt from a publisher to completely cease support for the Switch while still having the gall to suggest it deserves to be rewarded with a near-premium fee for its lack of effort. If you want to pay good money to get insulted, go heckle a big-name comedian instead: at least you’ll get a smile out of it. If you don’t already own a FIFA game on Switch and aren’t bothered about having the latest kits and team rosters, just get last year’s version on the cheap. FIFA 20 on Switch is a completely pointless release that nobody should buy. More infuriatingly, it sets EA up for the inevitable decision to cancel the series on Switch altogether in the coming years, at which point it’ll blame poor sales on a lack of interest from the Nintendo fanbase: because it’s obviously our fault we weren’t grateful and gullible enough to buy its quarter-hearted effort without having the common sense to notice we were paying nearly the same amount of money as the fully-featured Xbox One and PS4 versions.
